I covered this issue previously as a matter of discussion a few months ago.
Now I could use some help, please.
Verizon is not only providing deteriorating mail but their mail server is
on more RBLs than my IP.
No matter what I do, I cannot even get a REPLY from Osirusoft let alone
remove myself from the relay list. I have had the same static IP for five
years. It's in a pool but that is a result of the Bellatlantic to Verizon
transition.
I realize the reluctance to white list an unidentifiable IP in a pool but
common sense suggests that I wouldn't fill out all the web forms and send
all the e-mail (which I have to do by Hotmail because sometimes Verizon
gets blocked) if the IP was subject to change at any moment. BTW, my
communications have been polite. Frankly, I have been far more courteous
than they have since they haven't had the decency to ever respond.
Moreover, there are absolutely no records of Spam. I have a clean record at
DShield and our mail server requires authentication; in fact, Osirus has
tested it.
Switching my ISP or resolving this with Verizon are not options at this
time. I expect to move within the next six months so I just need to get
some relief until that time when I will, indeed, make the necessary changes.
