I am looking for a recommendation for a good fake-bounce programme to use
as an anti-spam tool. I was using an old and simple one called Spam Bounce
however it was unable to cope with the authentication needed to send email
via my DSL provider (Verizon).
I realise that this tool is ineffective for the vast majority of spam that
arrives, as they have forged return headers. I am more interested in going
after the likes of what I shall euphemistically call 'email marketing'
companies such as EqualaMail, BrightMail, the Green World group, etc that
appear to have legit return headers([EMAIL PROTECTED])
I see that Eudora 6.0 will incorporate some spam fighting tools, but I
doubt that a fake bounce will be one of them. BTW - it is due out as early
as the first week of September
Thanks
Tony
