Good day, I was just wondering... when someone sends an email to an invalid user, does spamdyke still go through the graylisting process (as I suspect it does), then releases to qmail if the conditions are met, at which time qmail will reject as an invalid user?
I ask because i was in the domain folder for one of my domains that is hit with a lot of spam, and there were tons of folders (over 10,000 for a domain that was added to my toaster only a few weeks ago) in there (which I assume are the id's that a spammer was trying to deliver to). How are others dealing with this kind of issue? I had another server in which a client had over 60,000 files and then I started running into inode issues with the file system itself until I deleted a bunch of the un-needed files.... I am just hoping to avoid that issue here is the domain folders for all of my domains keep growing..... I know i can write a script pretty easily to clean it up. Just looking for more clarification..... regards.
