Unfortunately qmail does not reject invalid recipients at
connection-time. Instead, it accepts all messages and generates bounces
for any that can't be delivered. Because of this, spamdyke graylists
all recipients, whether invalid or not. This can lead to inode
exhaustion on busy systems.

qmail's design, combined with the large number of qmail queue processing
scripts/programs, makes it very difficult to determine if a recipient is
actually invalid or not. For the moment, I'm afraid we're stuck with
scripts to clean out the graylist folders periodically.

Any day now, I should be done with the principle coding on the next big
version of spamdyke -- then I can move on to writing about 100 new test
scripts and rewriting a large part of the documentation. I plan to add
recipient validation in the big version after this one.
