Thanks for the hint. 

Fail2ban looks quite nice but is a very sharp edge. For nobody will get an
answer if his mail is blocked. 
I will have a close look at it, for it would be nice if half of the spam is
blocked even before it reaches the mail queue. That would definitely take
some load of the server. But I am not sure if it is "the" solution for my
problem.

At the moment we are trying fail2ban in combination with spamdyke. This 
should (IMHO) reduce memory usage.

Additonally we added another rule which also blocks DENIED_RBL_MATCH.
This works quite fine for us.
