Pete- This should be really easy (by simply re-pairng Ag with Bi and Bg with Ai then syncing), *but* that I think Sync Services will see identical events on different iCal calendars as duplicates and will ask you to resolve all of the "conflicts". Given this behavior from Sync Services, I don't believe you'll be able to have identical events on Ai and Bi.
However, you can get a single calendar with all of your A and B events: just pair Ai with Bg and deselect syncing for Bi, then sync. You should wind up with all of your A and B events in Ai and Bg. Please let us know how it works out.
