No, the new behavior on Google's side seems to be sporadic so you may
not have been affected. I suspect they have new code running on some
but not yet all of their servers. Hopefully we caught it before many
people's data was affected.

Unfortunately Google doesn't notify developers (like us) of the
constant, small changes they make, some of which can have far-reaching
effects.
