Dan- I suspect the invisible characters we use for Address Book Compatibility Mode are confusing Google Maps. You can try turning it off:
* Open Spanning Sync * In the Contacts tab, deselect and then re-select the "Sync contacts" checkbox * Choose "Preserve Gmail Compatibility" and click "OK" * In the Advanced tab, click "Replace Data on Google...", select "Contacts", and click "OK" Note that this process will clear your Gtalk chat lists and all contact groups on Google. Once it completes, your Google contacts won't have the invisible characters and should work better with Google Maps. Please let us know how it works out.
