With Dan's help we were able to find and fix the problem that was
causing recurring events starting between March 17 and April 6 in the
Pacific/Auckland time zone to be off by an hour. Anyone affected by
this problem should delete and re-create the incorrect events, which
should now sync properly.

Thanks,
Charlie
