So I'm giving the trial a go and have a few questions. First, here's
my attempted setup:

OS X 10.5.6 Address Book <-> GCalendar/GMail <-> Samsung Omnia WM6.1

I have Spanning Sync keeping my Address Book and GMail contacts synced
(tho it's slow to see changes, nothing like the videos on the Spanning
Sync site, even with Manual Syncs). I use ActiveSync's m.google.com
setup to keep my Omnia synced with GMail contacts. So everything right
now is more or less using Google Contacts as a backup.

As of now, if I add a contact to my phone, it'll sync with Google and
add it there, then eventually sync with my Macbook and add it there.
This also works in the other direction, if I add someone to Address
book on my Mac, it'll go to Google, then eventually to my phone. I
don't ever plan on editing contacts within Google Contacts and don't
really use the email there.

My question is: How do I delete a contact and propagate that
throughout this process? If I delete someone from Address Book, will
Spanning Sync delete them from Google Contacts? Subsequently deleting
them from my phone? Or do I have to log into all 3 and delete the
contact?

Also, how are the IDs actually handled? Say I change the last name of
a contact (but it's still technically the same contact, they just got
married), will Spanning Sync add another contact to my Google Contacts
or will it be "smart" enough to know the existing contact changed?

Thanks for any insight :)
