My Contacts, in Address Book, are all nicely sorted by last name. For some reason, they are not in my Gmail Contacts. They're sorted by first name.
I suspect this is a Gmail issue, but I wanted to check. I started using Spanning Sync (with no real problems) in anticipation of ditching my iPhone and picking up a Pre or an Android. I figured I needed to use Google as a cloud hub for my contacts and calendar. However, I dread the idea of all of the contacts on my new phone being sorted by last name because Google doesn't differentiate. So, is the problem Google or Spanning Sync - or user error? I fully believe there might be a setting somewhere I missed.
