Hi Tom, We literally never have problems with our servers, so we weren't aware how annoying the notifier window would be. We are going to change the way this works in a future version of Spanning Sync. Regarding using Growl as a notifier, we have actually come across reports of sync issues when Growl is installed on some of our clients computers. Because of this, it obviously isn't something we would want to introduce into Spanning Sync. We'll modify the way the current notification system works though.
