Info on this forum is a bit old: Google has setup Exchange support so that you can just add an editable Exchange account to your iPhone and edit your Google calendar. The REAL problem with Google Calendar is that, if there's a problem, (events don't show up, invites don't get delivered, etc.) Google won't give you support, and Spanning Sync will.
