I really like Spanning Sync 3 (latest release) and have paid for lifetime. But have a problem in the way "Work" addresses are synced from the Mac's address Book to Google Contacts. All my "historical" contacts transferred correctly - I deleted all of Google contacts to get a fresh rebuild (over 3500 contacts). Worked fine.
But any new contact that I sync from Address Book translates "Work" into "_S!<Ex-Business>!$_" in my Google contact. I then have to re- edit the Google entry to change it to "Work". Same problem with "Home" = "_S!<Ex-Home>!$_". I have Spanning Sync set to "sync to Google" so it is one way until I have this issue sorted. I should add that I am using google.com. I am experiencing the same syncing problem with both US and UK style addresses (I am in the UK). Operating system is Snow Leopard.
