The only option I've seen for doing this is Sync'em: http://www.syncem.com/.
The last time I tried it, it did a number of unusual things (like
using the Notes field to store some of its data), but it is designed
to do just what you're looking for.

Note that I had some issues, possibly due to my exceedingly large
contacts list (2500+) and my calendar being large, too. Their support
is pretty responsive.

There is no support with SpanningSync for this, which is why the other
choices mentioned here including using Outlook as a bridge (with the
strange assumption that your Mac would have Outlook on it, or you'd
have access to Outlook somewhere).
