i discovered duplicate alarms in iCal Today. ran calendar cleaner and it found the duplicates. "cleaned" them out and the duplicates remain in iCal. however, calendar cleaner doesn't find them anymore. reset sync data on mobile me to replace data on the computer. still has issues. deleted caches still problems.
