I am thinking of migrating from busycal to spanning sync to return to the iCal with Lion. I'm using spanning sync now to sync contacts with google but use busycal to sync calendars with google. I noticed two issues after playing with it and testing it with one calendar.
1) opening spanning sync preferences I see duplicate calendars. For example I have a calendar called 'Us' that appears just once in both busycal and ical, but when I open spanning sync preferences I see two calendars called 'Us' 2) I tested activating sync with one calendar and making some modifications of an event, but when I did that a duplicate event was created. Modifying the name of an event "test" to be "test 2", I then get two events, one called "test" and one called "test 2". I am interested in migrating but won't do it if this I'm only going to get a bunch of duplicate data or other problems. Anyone have any thoughts about this?
