Hi there,
a couple days ago I've discovered a strange problem: I am using
Outlook 2011 on the Mac and want my contacts/dates on my Android
phone. Set it all up using SpanningSync and it worked all right.
Normally I'm not using Addressbook, but than I found this strange
behaviour, that I were not able, to ad new photos to contacts. When I
tried, the pictures would go in, were resizeable, etc. All seemed
fine. Hit safe, change to a different contact, return to the original
entry and the picture would be gone.
To check, what was going on, I looked into Addressbook and found a
whole set of contacts that did not change at all, no matter what I did
at the Outlook side of the world.
Still - an that is the strange thing about it, since I undestand,
SpanningSync does not directly act between Outloo and Google - every
thing I did, reached my Android phone via Google in perfect order.
Even the pictures which Outlook would not keep / show, were there and
still are.

I have already
- reset all prefs, Adressbook as well as Outlook.
- rebuilt the Office data base
- started all over, chosing to completely overwrite google.

Only change by now: no contacts at all in Addressbook, since the old
set was deleted. But every thing fine on the phone. Old pictures in
the contacts but no new ones to be added - except, for some reason,
with two new contacts, a behaviour, that I could not reproduce a third
time.

I do not know, if this is one problem all together or if I just
incidentally discovered two problems at the same time, the "skipping"
of Addressbook and the vanishing contact photos.

Any help? Any ideas?
