I can't use Spanning Sync if I cannot trust it. (But I desperately *do*
hope to be able to use it.)

I signedup to sync my gmail account over to my OSX lion mail local account.
All seems correct, execpt that *all* of my contacts have had their email
addresses and phone numbers stripped.

They still have first / last names and still have notes attatched to each.

but all other info has been deleted from both Gmail and from the newly
synced applemail.

I am doing a bi-directional sync and the original contacts were in gmail.
obviously I cannot risk spanning sync going forward, if this kind of
behavior is possible.
(I am hoping I did something wrong, and as long as i never do that again,
this will never happen again.)

any help will be great!
