I'm not sure, but perhaps I've seen this few months back on my T2000 too. IIRC it uses SAS1068E (or 64?). What I see is timeout on startup so OpenBSD panic because of missing root drive. Reset/reboot usually solved that. This was with snapshot 5.8 around august/september this year...
