Thanks Tijs, I couldn't imagine that bricking was an option, as it wasn't listed but either not with a warning, thanks God that I asked before... so is this a pure Solaris box?
Did you maybe try installing obsd within an ldom or is that also risky? Do you still have firmware update to try?
