If they came out with a machine *today* that offered USB support, the
software would be tied tothat implementation.
I think the SunPCI PC on a card is the best answer, since it not only opens
up PC applications, but I suspect that webcam software is much more
plentiful for the Win/x86 platform that Linux/SPARC platform.
Oh shoot, I just realized this is a Linux-oriented maillist - SunPCI is not
an option under SPARC Linux... Opps.

A little bird has rumoured to me that the new Sun due out any moment
might have USB ports but I don't actually know :-(
