This may not be relevant, but I've encountered the same problem several
times now.  One thing I've observed is that sometimes the dll's aren't
registered properly on the installation.   To try registering them again you
can run a bat script that is found in the installation directory.  You can
do this by opening a windows command shell and running the following
commands:

cd "C:Program Files\trapper\MHDAC_B.02.00_API1.3.1"
RegisterMassHunterDataAccess.bat

Note: its important that you change your directory to the location of the
bat file/dll scripts.
