Hello everyone, I've been using Mascot-based Analysis Pipeline. However, converting mascot DAT file to pepXML turns in an error "UNC paths are not supported. Defaulting to Window directory." The details are as follows: *EXECUTING: run_in //artemis.umaryland.edu/data/users/btran/Window_TPP_test/DAT; c:\Inetpub\tpp-bin\Mascot2XML //artemis.umaryland.edu/data/users/btran/Window_TPP_test/DAT/F001507.dat -D//artemis.umaryland.edu/data/users/btran/db/TB_uniport_070405.fasta -Etrypsin * '\\artemis.umaryland.edu\data\users\btran\Window_TPP_test\DAT' CMD.EXE was started with the above path as the current directory. UNC paths are not supported. Defaulting to Windows directory. filepath: //artemis.umaryland.edu/data/users/btran/Window_TPP_test/DAT/, extn: F001507 cannot create tgz file "//artemis.umaryland.edu/data/users/btran/Window_TPP_test/DAT/F001507.tgz" (error "Permission denied"), quitting command "c:\Inetpub\tpp-bin\Mascot2XML //artemis.umaryland.edu/data/users/btran/Window_TPP_test/DAT/F001507.dat -D//artemis.umaryland.edu/data/users/btran/db/TB_uniport_070405.fasta -Etrypsin" failed: Operation not permitted I tried to add the value DisableUNCHECK REG_DWORD (value set to 0x1) as instructed by Microsoft (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/156276).
