SHA is an acronym for "secure hash algorithm" and the sha1 element is
described in section 7 of the document above.  It is a hash value
calculated on the mzXML file for the content of the file from the beginning
of the file to the last ">" character of the opening tag of the sha1
element i.e. "<sha1>".  You have many options for source code or tools
 (e.g. "sha1sum") that can calculate this hash.
