Hello. I've got a bunch of Mascot search files (*.dat) that I'm trying to convert with Mascot2XML on TPP 4.6.3.
I'm doing the conversion on a RHEL 5.1 (64bit). Each DAT file is paired with it's corresponding MGF file. If I issue this command: Mascot2XML A_121105_12_ISO25_pH11.dat -nodta -notgz And I get the following error: filepath: /data/mgf/f/, extn: A_121105_12_ISO25_pH11 A stored as 71.0371 B stored as 114.535 C stored as 160.031 D stored as 115.027 ...(other amino acid residues here) .... Z stored as 128.551 c stored as 17.0027 n stored as 1.00782 variable modification 1, delta mass 15.9949 for Oxidation (M): residues: M nterm: 0 cterm: 0 protterm: 0 variable modification 2, delta mass 79.9663 for Phospho (ST): residues: ST nterm: 0 cterm: 0 protterm: 0 variable modification 3, delta mass 79.9663 for Phospho (Y): residues: Y nterm: 0 cterm: 0 protterm: 0 *terminate called after throwing an instance of 'boost::exception_detail::clone_impl<boost::exception_detail::error_info_injector<std::ios_base::failure> >' what(): failed opening file: No such file or directoryAborted* I'm not sure what the problem is. I've tried pairing the DAT files with mzXML, mzML and mgf files. All give the same result. Any suggestions for a work around? Thanks in advance. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "spctools-discuss" group.
