Dear TPP developers, I just discovered a "bug" on the windows TPP version. At the very end of "more_anal.pl" (and also in several other scripts) there is the following line:
unlink($tmpxmlfile) if ($tmpxmlfile ne $xmlfile); # did we decompress pepxml.gz? If one now calls the script from a browser, with the xmlfile argument not exactly matching the xml file on the file system (e.g. all lower case), then the prot.xml file will be deleted by the script! This might not be a common case but can be very annoying. One can easily prevent this by doing a case-insensitive file name comparison: unlink($tmpxmlfile) if (lc $tmpxmlfile ne lc $xmlfile); Would be great if you could include this in future releases. cheers, Ulrich -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "spctools-discuss" group.
