Hello, I am using TPP for the first time and have been having trouble converting .dat files obtained from mascot's free server to pepxml files using the mascot pipeline. I suspect that I am probably specifying the database incorrectly but I am not really sure what I might be doing wrong.
I did my mascot searches using the NCBInr database, restricted to zebrafish. The database I am using for the file conversion was obtained from ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/blast/db/FASTA/nr.gz and unzipped using 7zip. The error I receive when attempting to convert is pasted below. If anyone can tell me what i am doing wrong, I would appreciate it very much.
