Hello, I am trying to use TPP for the first time and have been unable to convert .dat files from mascot into pepXML. I suspect that maybe I am not using the right database file.
I obtained the .dat files from the free mascot server and did my searches using the NCBInr database restricted to zebrafish. I also downloaded the nr database from ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/blast/db/FASTA/nr.gz and unziped that file to use for Mascot2XML. The error message I receive when trying to convert is pasted below. If anyone can tell me what I am doing wrong, I would appreciate it very much.
