Correction: In the latest version of the RDF Pointers spec, ByteOffsetRangePointer has been renamed to ByteOffsetCompoundPointer(http://www.w3.org/TR/Pointers-in-RDF10/#byteOffsetCompoundPointerClass). Still works just as well for our purposes.
