Hi Gary,

Thanks for the pointer!

I also think that the file should be in the same repo as the other
representations of the standard. This will make it easier to base spdx
processing applications on the very same ontology file that is the basis of the
latest standard version.

Kind regards,
Johannes

Johannes,

Attached is the OWL file for 2.1. I just added a pull request so for the file
to be added to the github source for the SPDX spec
(https://github.com/spdx/spdx-spec/pull/38). If it is accepted, future
versions of the file can be found there. The Spec repo will be tagged with
various releases which will provide access to previous versions.

Regards,
Gary

Subject: [spdx-tech] Question about OWL file for SPDX standard

Hi,

I was searching for quite a while to find the owl file of the current spdx
specification. I found a html document [1] for the file and an online browser
[2] but not the actual file. To process the ontology, it would be easier to
have the file in a directly machine readable form. Would be great if someone
could point me to a place where I can find a file with the ontology.

Kind regards,
Johannes
