I think that if we are going to change it, then now is the time to do so. At the same time, it creates one more thing that needs to be dealt with for backwards compatibility. Doesn't seem like the end of the world not to change it, though the consistency of changing it is nice.
So I'm 0 on this issue. --David -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dick Hardt Sent: Saturday, October 14, 2006 10:59 PM To: [email protected] Subject: openid.identifier vs openid.identity Given that the spec uses the word identifier throughout, it would make sense that the parameter would be called that. Perhaps in changing what the parameter contains, we can rename it, and keep openid.identity for backward compatibility? -- Dick _______________________________________________ specs mailing list [email protected] http://openid.net/mailman/listinfo/specs _______________________________________________ specs mailing list [email protected] http://openid.net/mailman/listinfo/specs
