Like most of us, I'm not a great fan of the webtop, but one aspect of it is
puzzling me. I'm running 1.01 on a twin Pentium III 550.
When I go into Business Center | Users and security | Type security, select
an object type, select a method (eg Create) and assign two user groups (out
of four) to the method, it takes approximately one minute (I'm serious) to
apply the change. Am I doing something obviously stupid? Everything else up
to this point has been passably quick, but this bit is ridiculous.
Adding a new user and assigning groups to the user is fine; it's just type
security. Nothing else was running when I timed it at about 1 minute.
