The point about it still being version 1 is a very good one. Spectra shows
lots of potential, however it has a few things to iron out first, which may
not be to everyones liking. The main point is that the Spectra Vision is a
very good one, just think about the differences between CF1 and CF4.5,
they're worlds apart.
Spectra V2 is gona kick ass, BTW does anybody have information on the rumour
that Vignette are re-writting story server?

Subject: KickStart your 'Tedious Webtop'
Also I have found that if the Spectra machine has 100% 'foreground' CPU
set - the Webtop performance is greatly increased. Also regularly check
the application.log as I found a large log to slow things down.
These are probably just erroneous things - but you will be surprised.
I have also found that accessing the Webtop via 127.0.0.1 (or via typed
localhost ) it can really east performance. I think it is a case of getting
a machine running like a dream - everyday Diskkeeping - emptying of Temp
files etc.....
let's face it - it is still in version 1 (or 1.0.1 but what should have been
1!) think what it will be like when it is in 8!
