I found that SQLServer 7 (SP2 - MDAC 2.1) on NT gave the best results, and
this is the key point, when you have a seperate DB for each App. When you
have an 1:1 relationship of Object DB :: App. it seems to run a lot
quicker. Speed however can be determined by such a variaty of things - RAM,
configuration etc.....
It is a game of trial and error (and as much RAM as you can squeeze in your
box!)
