Hi All
I'm having trouble copying an application (ie files and CO db). I have exported a CO
database and imported it into a new datasource for a new application. I have also
copied the .cfm files from the old to the new site (and modified them accordingly). I
also went into the Site Layout Model for the new application and changed the absolute
server path for each of the (copied) site components to point to the new files. The
problem is that the first time that I browse one of the files, Spectra creates new
objects for the page and for the objects on the page.
Is there a way to get Spectra to use the existing objects rather than create new ones?
I'm using the cfa_page tag on all of the pages, but I would have expected Spectra to
use the existing objects as defined in the Site Layout Model, rather than create new
ones. Any ideas? Is there an easier way of copying an entire application?
Any assistance would be appreciated.
