Hey all---
We've just found that the default edit handlers in Spectra will NEVER
run a check to validate an object type's properties, even if they are
marked as Required in Type Designer.
Even worse, Spectra utterly ignores any Property Definitions you have set
up,
skipping the custom CFML validation entered; it lets any old data - too
long,
too short, bad characters, whatever - get in through the Edit page.
What gives? Are we stuck coding our own edit handlers for objects that need
to have their properties validated?
