active tasks

imagine I had a three step workflow (3 tasks)   task one gets completed and is marked as finished.  Task 2 is marked as begun.(active)   the task 2 user logs in completes the task and it is sent back to redo task 1.   [ obviously this restarts task 1, but what I want to know is does this mean task 2 remains active?  or do I finish task two and just get it to begin again when task one has been redone?]   the point of all this is I have a couple of stages which might need to pass back to a predecessor, but I want to know if I can work it so only one task is ever active at one time......       Toby Tremayne Code Poet and Zen Master of the Heavy Sleep Show-Ads Interactive Pty Ltd 359 Plummer St Port Melbourne AUST VIC 3207 +61 3 9245 1247
