I really could use a hand with this, I can';t figure out what's wrong.
I've just copied an app across from one server to another. Both are running
1.01 of spectra, (the new server was a fresh install). all the code is the
same, and they're pointing at the same database. None of my objects appear
in the front end app because the metadata is not properly set up...
(obviously, new collections in the spectra install) So I try to build the
collections. What am I missing here - I've tried running the scripts from
the admin section of the webtop - the metadata colelction one almost always
hangs before it finishes - just goes on forever. The others don't fix
anything.
When I tried to run a typeindexall I get xml parsing errors. I've tried
extending the text buffer size and both checking and unchecking the
"retrieve long data" setting.
Can anyone help? Has anyone messed about with this before? I figure I'm
missing something obvious but I can't for the life of me see what it is...
