Has anyone configure an Allaire Spectra server (NT4.0)
to failover using (ClusterCats) to their WebTop
(NT4.0) server? The documentation references multiple
Allaire servers using ClusterCats, but not much on a
failover. Here's our approach. DNS points to main
Allaire Spectra server. Our 2nd server is a WebTop /
Allaire Spectra for internal users. Both servers have
ClusterCats installed. What we want is the WebTop
server ClusterCat to listen for the "keep alive" IP
address for the main Allaire Spectra server. If there
is no "keep alive" IP traffic, then the WebTop server
would assume the main server IP address. Does this
make any sense?
