Jason is referring to an application on which I was the chief
architect. Since the design choices he mentions below were driven by
specific functionality of the application, I have contacted him off-list
and asked him to continue this conversation off-list.
If anyone on-list wants to have a general discussion about the pros and
cons of using object properties vs. metadata for classification or about
duplicating object types, or in fact about Spectra best practices, please
contact me off-list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). If there is interest, I will
post back to the list.
