Ray,

This is great news.

It would also be nice to have a listserv that notified customers of all confirmed
bugs, hotfixes, workarounds and white papers. Also, as you say, a site to get not only
the hotfixes, but packages of hotfixes that include all previous fixes.

I have suggested this to Amy Wong, Charles Teague and Libby Freligh and also suggested
that an official confirmed and unconfirmed bug list database be available to all
customers for each release of the product. The beta buglist is not too much use if
you are not running the beta.

Hope you are able to pull all of this off. It would save us all an immense amount of
time. I know you have been on the other side of the fence and appreciate where this is
coming from.

Its funny that you mention this...

It would be cool if there was a web site where it would be easy to grab all
the latest hot fixes and mods.

Or, if you weren't interested in all the fixes, just one nice zip that would
patch up your Spectra to the latest
released version.

Or, if you find a bug, and know how to fix it, it would be cool if you could
submit it to Allaire.

Well, that's actually my job (along with other responsibilities) at
Allaire. -grin-

I can't go into too much detail at the moment, and I don't want to promise
you stuff that we can't deliver, but I can say that the process of keeping
your Spectra server up to date should be significantly easier.

I will, of course, let you know more when there is more to know (stuff like
ETA, additional features, etc).
