I have some questions about Spectra on Linux. I know it's not designed to
run on Linux, but I'm wondering why it won't work. The only thing I can
think of is security since everything else is just CF. Is the restriction on
moving to Linux just because of SiteMinder? Will the Solaris Spectra CD
actually install on Linux, but not run without SiteMinder?

I've installed Spectra on Windows without having SiteMinder installed. The
installation complained a little, but it got through the whole thing. Would
the same thing happen with Linux? If the security portion of Spectra were
replaced, would it run on Linux?

What about the default cfaObjects installation database. Will Linux be able
to connect to it?

Thanks!

Jason
