I'm doing some testing with senmi-large (8000 items) verity collections
right now. Verity searches are very fast when whatever you want to search
for is not present in the collection. Unfortunately if there are matches
the search can take a very large amount of time. I am seeing anything
between 0 and 16 seconds over here.
