Its okay, I figured it out..
for some reason the siteminder datasource was pointing to an .mdb!!! (this
dont werk)
So I associated it with one of my SQL server smpolicy databases.. then also
set the userdirectory to the same
db as the one pointed to in sc1 of the aforementioned smpolicy db (this CAN
be an .mdb)
voila!
