Would it be a bad idea to use the eWebEdit Pro in Spectra 1.5 on a public
site? Is it designed more for intranets where you can dictate or expect a
certain platform?

I worry primarily about browser compatibility, people being prompted to
download and install controls they may not have the necessary security
priviledges to download and install, conflicts in the case the user has
already installed the full version, etc, people being prompted to reboot
their machines the first time they go to use the control, etc. Basically I
have concerns based on some of the problems reported here.

This would be for a Forums app used by corporate users across the US and
around the world.
