When upgrading from 1.01 to 1.5, the upgrade fails (containers cannot have
children), and as a result the webtop fails to load. I've applied all
patches. Each time I've done my trial upgrade I have to find and delete the
containers with children, orphaned objects etc. in one of my applications.
I'm hoping that the Maintenance Release will have a more robust upgrade
routine that more gracefully handles these problems, perhaps flagging the
problem objects/containers? Not holding my breath though.
I guess the best approach is to try to find the problem objects before the
upgrade.
