Given that we agree Spectra is a good product, I think it is worth investing
time and money as long as it makes money for you. If you are developing
applications for clients who need them now, Spectra can do that just great.
If you are also planning long term company development then, that is a
slightly different question.
Personally I'm pretty much guessing that Spectra will NOT be around for
long, although that doesn't stop it from being a bloody useful tool for RAD
at the moment.
Can I ask why you would discontinue its use?
I would think when it no longer satisfies requirements, then it should be
superceded (although maybe that is what you are alluding to, get the jump on
the progression?)
