Well from what I have been told by Allaire Sales Team in the UK
Spectra will stop at 1.5.1 - Due in Summer
Then the COAPI will be placed in to JAVA in NEO.
But only Content Management and Workflow will exists
Spectra 1.5.1 Will be supported for at least 2 Years as a Community source.
I.e. We say there's a problem we submit the fix they look at the fix we send
then code it as they wish then supply the hot fixes / maintenance fix.
I have been told that we can have or Spectra Subscription back.
And As I was told this should have been released today by Macromedia but I
don't think they have.
As I was not placed under a NDA I guess I can say this.

Pure speculation on my part. If we're going to speculate about what they are
going to do then lets speculate big. It makes the most sense. I predicted
the Macromedia/Allaire merge about 6months before it happened. It just made
sense.
