Dave,
I'd have to second Jon's point... in my experience there is no reasonable
way to make Spectra perform well. Our successful deployments of Spectra have
all been for sites with just a few hundred users per day and a very limited
role for Spectra-unique functionality. Consider replacing large chunks of
your
Spectra code with "pure CF". It's the only way to scale the thing. And,
since
MacroAllaire is ending Spectra support in 2 years, it'll give you a head
start
on moving on to a better architecture.
